Getting old...it's just not fun. I played some full-court basketball, 5 on 5, no subs, almost two hours worth, pretty serious guys.
I could barely walk the next day. Three days later, my legs are still sore. Not the way to go about getting ready for the Sacramento Cowtown Half-Marathon in four weeks, I can tell you that.
I'll try to get out for my weekly long run tomorrow. Basketball...what was I thinking? I'm no kid like Obama, right?
Almost as many races as last week...I'll be doing the Good Samaritan Challenge 12k as a warmup for the Half. Right in Corvallis - come on over to Starker Park on the 19th and join me.
