I don't know that I've ever seen a week with this many races in my entire life. Wow. Get out there and find a race!
It also reminds me of something I was very much appreciating lately, with three races in three weeks during my EPIC 2011 push.
Very simply - it's nice to race at home.
Sure, it's great fun to take a vacation or a weekend trip to some far away race, but there sure is something to be said for racing in your own hometown. Sleeping in your own bed. Not having to wake up at 4:00 in the morning to drive somewhere and be at the start line on time. Use little or absolutely no gas to get to the race - so far this year, I've done three races and all have started within two miles of my house.
Give yourself and the environment a break and race your next event at home.
