Well, this Saturday, the EPIC 2011 is going to allow me to do something I've never done before: run two races in one day.
First, at 9:00am, I'll take on the OSU Pet Day 5k. Dodge a couple dogs, not kill myself, but at the same time, not take it too slow, because...
At 9:30am, I've got the Sophie's Day 5k. In the running business, we call that a quick turnaround.
If the two races had been an hour apart, I'd be all over it. But 30 minutes? Yowza. And although Corvallis is not a big town, the races are still in different parts of town, so I can't just hop from one to the other.
Gotta do what you gotta do...and the R's has gotta run the EPIC.
Look for the race review x 2 on Sunday. Should be interesting.
