Another Day of Hill Training for the McDonald Forest Trail 15k



Taking advantage of another decent October weekend with good weather, we hit the McDonald Forest trails for more hill work. Little bit of a shorter run this week, only 6.5 miles, but got all the elevation I needed in there. Had an easier time navigating the trails this week after stumbling around a bit last week. Not a bunch of dead ends and turn arounds this time, just followed the Upper Dan's Trail to the top of Dimple Hill, then took a quick loop around Lower Dan's Trail at the end just to get the dog some water. Nice view of Corvallis from the top of Dimple Hill. Only a couple weeks now until the race. Time to get after it!
