  1. The layer of ice has forced me inside. I can enjoy a run in the cold, and follow most of those suggestions. I am not a weight person, but read your taking some weight off post with interest. I am working at getting at what I call my "fighting weight". I want to see if it would make my bursitis better, but have mostly found myself down 2 then up 2.. Oh well.

  2. I hear you about the weight-loss issue. I find if I'm really working out regularly, I'll have the same results as you: up a few pounds, down a few pounds. But then, after a month or two I'll suddenly drop three or four pounds. Then it's up and down and up and down. Then I'll drop three or four.

It's an exercise in patience, that's for sure. But the slow, steady turtle wins the race, right?
