Yeah, I know I'm a little late on this, but I finally sat down and watched a YouTube clip of the end of the race and...HOLY CRAP! Solinsky is just flying down the track.
So Solinsky breaks the 10k American record by...14 seconds! Are you kidding me? That's like breaking the Marathon record by 10 minutes! It's just unfathomable.
And look at how many people he had to dodge on his way to get there. He was lapping half the pack.
Truly a race for the ages.
