Eugene Marathon Running Music - Playlist!

As George Michael used to say on Sports Machine, "You see it here first!"

And so you do. Here is my playlist for the Eugene Marathon. Unfortunately, it's only about 3:10 worth of music - that ain't gonna cut it for me. But it's exactly 50 songs, so seemed like a nice round number...I'll just have to listen to a few songs twice. No big.

See you next week in Eugene!

  1. Great playlist! I'm sure this will help in Eugene. Have you ever looked into the bpms of the songs? You might find that matching the bpm (beats per minute) to your pace can also be very helpful. I've put a few of my favorites w/ bpms below and I hope you'll check out the 4 different playlists I've put together specifically for running (esp for marathons). There is over 25 hrs of running music w/ carefully selected songs that are inspirational, about running, or at least are fun w/ great beat (no "19th Nervous Breakdown", "Loser", "Blister in the Sun", etc.) I think you'll find we have similar taste in music. Check it out at http://www.remanents.com/blog/bold-pace-music/

  2. Hey, thanks for the comments and the songs! I actually have a number of these on the iPod already...but I haven't heard of some of them, and I LOVE getting new stuff to listen to.

Wow, the Tubes...I haven't heard that one for a while.
