Back in the Northwest

In body, if not in spirit....we'll get back to the old NW running in just a bit. But for now, I'm going to relive a couple of Hawaii runs.

First, on the Big Island, running down Ali'i Drive in Kona. If you want to run hills on the Big Island, it's not hard, just turn inland and you go up fast. Personally, I said "no thanks" and stayed by the water. Hey, what's better than running where you can see the waves, right?

Next, we've got Maui and the Ka'anapali Beach Boardwalk. A lot of people to dodge, but a sweet ride right along the shore. You've got to love it when the Garmin shows an elevation of negative six feet. Ah Hawaii...
