Best Running Song for November!
How can you possibly go wrong running to a song titled Breakneck Speed? Hey, you can't. It's by the Tokyo Police Club, and yeah, it's another Canadian band. What can I say? The Great White North really puts out some great bands! It's a great tune to run to and has a pretty good driving beat for a 10k or a half-marathon.
And here's a cool live version.
Nothing like a great song to get your feet moving. Have a good run.

I'm just doing a little catching up on your blog. While I like your choice for November... I'd like to nominate
ReplyDelete"Forget You" by CeeLo Green. It turned out to be quite motivating as a running song. Who knew? When your daughter gives you this song on your Ipod- because it's helping her get over the BF who broke her heart and is acting like a jerk...it does produce that adrenaline push. I had given her a song on her Ipod which was much more of a "emotional, self-esteem type" song. But what really helped was the gritty "Forget You" (we both have the clean version:). Wasn't expecting to have an Ipod cover with "F**k You" on it, but a mother's love... it runs deep.
I don't know if I've even heard the song - but I'm always looking for new stuff! I'll give it a listen before I pick the December Best Running Song.
ReplyDeleteThanks and tell her that he, no doubt, wasn't good enough for her anyway!
